Create and send web push campaigns
Send one-time browser push campaigns to active subscribers, segments, or selected audiences in Pushrr.
Create and send web push campaigns
Campaigns are one-time web push notifications sent to active subscribers. Use them for product drops, sale reminders, back-in-stock messages, and store announcements.
Campaign workflow
Open Campaigns and create a new campaign.
Add the notification title, message, destination URL, image, and optional action buttons.
Choose the audience: all active subscribers, a segment, or a selected subscriber.
Save as draft, schedule, or send depending on the campaign state.
Review delivery, impressions, clicks, and unsubscribe metrics. If a campaign is actively sending, pause it when you need to stop the remaining unsent work.
Notification content
Keep notification copy specific and short. The browser controls how much text is visible, especially on mobile.
Recommended fields:
- Title: the clear offer or update.
- Body: one supporting line.
- Target URL: the product, collection, or landing page.
- Image: optional visual asset for supported browsers.
- Action buttons: up to two extra links when supported.
Audience options
Pushrr can target subscribers by status and saved subscriber attributes such as browser, device, location, and behavior data where available.
Only active subscribers are eligible for campaign delivery. Unsubscribed or inactive subscribers should not receive campaigns.
Metrics
Campaign reporting focuses on:
- Sent and failed deliveries.
- Impressions when the notification is displayed.
- Clicks on the notification or action buttons.
- Unsubscribes detected during delivery.
Metrics can differ from subscriber counts because browser push endpoints can expire, become unreachable, or be unsubscribed outside Pushrr.
Pause, resume, and cancel
Scheduled campaigns can be cancelled before delivery starts.
Live campaigns can be paused while they are sending. Pausing stops remaining pending and retryable deliveries, but it cannot recall notifications that browser push services have already accepted. Resume the campaign when you want Pushrr to continue the remaining eligible sends.
Good campaign practices
- Send to a clear audience instead of blasting every message.
- Use UTM parameters when comparing web push results in analytics tools.
- Avoid misleading claims in notification copy.
- Send test notifications before important launches.
- Pause a live campaign only when you need to stop the unsent remainder; it is not a device-level recall.
